The Naked Karate GirlsHow did the two of you meet?
We met in high school. Erin went to McAuley High School and Ryan went to LaSalle High School. We were hanging out with the same group of friends and just started dating. 11 years later we were married! How did the proposal take place?
We went to New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl in 2009-2010 (the game was on New Year’s Day). On New Year’s Eve we were walking down by the river walk and taking pictures with his family. I just remember Ryan saying “one more picture” and next thing I knew he was on one knee with a ring in his hand! Since the cameras were already out we have pictures of him in the act!In what ways have you prepared to make your wedding day unique and special to the two of you?
Our idea of a perfect wedding was the word “FUN.” We hired The Naked Karate Girls as our band! We had soooooo much fun! It couldn’t have been better! What has been the most challenging experience throughout this process and do you have any advice for future brides?
Relax! Take everything with a grain of salt! No matter what happens, what little detail goes wrong, it doesn’t matter because you’re marrying your best friend! How did you go about selecting your vendors?
We used references from friends for most of my vendor choices. Pam from Delicate Stitches altered my dress. She is the most loving and caring woman ever! She treated me and my mom like we were family and altered my dress as if she was altering it for her own daughter! She was amazing!!!! We have seen The Naked Karate Girls out and the second we heard they did weddings we knew we had to hire them! It really made our night! The photographers were also fantastic. They were just fun to hang out with! Everything went so smoothly due to their coordination and expertise! The groomsmen loved just hanging out with Ted all afternoon and Kortnee fit with the bridesmaids like she was meant to be a part of the wedding party! Overall the experience was incredible…we wouldn’t change a thing!View More Featured Weddings:
