We met through mutual friends at a dinner. He is a Cincinnati Police Officer and I worked for a local TV station. I asked him to start sending me “breaking news” tips when when he was out patrolling. He was a little reluctant but by the end of the night, he got my number and later that week started to give me the scoop on scenes of various accidents. We went on a few dates after and the rest is historyHow did the proposal take place?
On the field at the Raven’s/Bengals game in Baltimore. The TV station I work for got the whole thing on camera. It aired on the news later that night.In what ways have you prepared to make your wedding day unique and special to the two of you?
I wanted to make it about us and also give people a WOW factor. The bigger, the better was our motto.What has been the most challenging experience throughout this process and do you have any advice for future brides?
Not to stress the small stuff and remember its not going to always go your way, but in the end, no matter what happens, its about you and the groom.How did you go about selecting your vendors?
I did a lot of research in magazines and on theknot.com. I used the message boards to ask other brides what they thought of certain vendors and then made appointments to meet with them. If we clicked, they made the cut.View More Featured Weddings:
