Jam EntertainmentHow did the two of you meet?
We were both working for the same company when we met. We bumped into each other in the break room getting coffee and were glued to each other after that. We have been together for six years. How did the proposal take place?
We went on a cruise with 70+ members of Jennie’s family. Scott thought it would be the perfect opportunity. He asked Jennie to go for a walk and check out the top deck of the ship. It was dark and the moon was shining on the water, it was beautiful. Jennie’s skirt was blowing around everywhere and insisted on going back inside, but when she turned to Scott he was down on one knee proposing. It was magical! When we went back to one of the lounge’s on the ship the whole family was there to celebrate with us.In what ways have you prepared to make your wedding day unique and special to the two of you?
We wanted to stick with a traditional style wedding but with modern twists. We both love royal blue so we knew we had to use that as a main color. We wanted a big wedding because there are so many people that have been a part of this six year journey we have been on and knew that we couldn’t do it without everyone being there. What has been the most challenging experience throughout this process and do you have any advice for future brides?
The most challenging is all the little details when the day is fast approaching. There are things that you don’t think about during the initial process that might be a little stressful later but don’t let it get to you. My advice to future brides is plan early!! I had 13 months to plan my wedding and I truly got the pick of what I wanted. I didn’t have to settle for something else because what I wanted was already taken. Always take family and friends up on their offers to help, you will need it!!How did you go about selecting your vendors?
Word of mouth mostly, plus from other weddings that I have been to. I did interview lots of choices before making my decision.View More Featured Weddings:
