Hey! Mr. DJ EntertainmentHow did the two of you meet?
We met at work. He asked me a work-related question one day and we started talking…and we’ve been talking ever since. I said that I would never date someone at work and look at me now!How did the proposal take place?
Scott proposed in Miami,, Florida because we went to The Orange Bowl last year. We went for a walk on the beach at sunset and he got down on one knee in front of a few fisherman!How did you go about selecting your vendors?
I selected my vendors by word of mouth and through my experiences in other weddings. I was the maid of honor in two weddings in 2008 and I’m using some of the same vendors that my friends worked with. Participating in those weddings gave me the opportunity to see what I liked and disliked from certain vendors and that helped when it came time to plan my own wedding.What has been the most challenging experience throughout this process and do you have any advice for future brides?
For me, the most challenging part of this process is handling all of the small details that pop up in the last few weeks – it can be overwhelming. My advice to other brides would be: ask for help, do not worry about things you cannot control and spend time with your fiancé in those few final weeks to just laugh and have a good time with each other. It’s easy to lose some of that with all of the planning.In what ways have you prepared to make your wedding day unique and special to the two of you?
The date itself – New Year’s Eve – makes the wedding pretty special. We got engaged the day before New Year’s Eve so it only made sense to have the wedding on New Year’s Eve. Not only do we want to have a great wedding reception we want to throw a great New Year’s party too. We’ll have a big countdown at midnight and a lot of the other elements of a great New Year’s Eve party.View More Featured Weddings:
